Wasn't sure where to post this, but I have been trying to figure out why DCS crashes every time I am in flight and switch to HUD VIEW ONLY, which is keypress (LALT + F1). What I stumbled upon is that this combination keypress also has a function in Windows 10. So every time I hit these commands, I crash DCS. I have been doing a lot of Google searching, but these guys are talking about editing some script etc,,, for the most part, I have no idea what they are talking about. other than remapping all these commands that have the potential to conflict with windows 10, does anyone have any thoughts on a simple app or something simple where I can at least turn off (LALT + F1) auto hot key? Would be nice if Win 10 came with an interface to uncheck a box for these commands etc, but I don't see one, thanks for any help.

Ok, so I gave in and downloaded AUTOHOTKEY just to disable "LALT =F1" But after reading through the tutorial and YOUTUBE, I came up with a bunch of strings that simply would not take, like:

~! + F1 Up::Return

Is anyone else using AUTOHOTKEY to disable some windows key presses? Thanks,

Well I managed to get this to work, but not as expected. Using the:

!F1::

Return

This as far as the Windows 10 desktop goes did eliminate that pecky popup window from popping up, but this code also does not allow me to use LAlt +F1 in the game. I'm apparently going about this the wrong way. All I want is for those keypresses NOT to pop up a Window that I don't use in Windows 10, not completely disable them as keybindings in a game.
