unfortunately, my hard drive with the DCS World installation crashed today (not the windows drive).

Is there any chance to free the installation keys and restore the install counter?

Maybe I can enter somewhere the activation-keys and the activation-keys are somewhere stored in the registry(?), which is still available.

No I do not think so.

Use the reg keys here to delete your ones and start fresh. Yes you will loose one activation but that is not a problem.

a guide for activation can be found in your root of dcs in the doc folder

what happens, if I just install DCS 2.0 on a diffrent hard drive but with the same hardware components.

Does the DRM know, that this PC is already registered /activated and just allows the installation of all activated modules?
