Tilly-B Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Forgive me if this has been answered somewhere else, but... The M2KC can carry 2x GBU 12 on the centre line hard point, why is it that you can't also mount twin (or single) Mk 82 series bombs on there too? Especially when the Belouga can be mounted on the centre line HP, albeit just one of them.
Azrayen Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Best guess: it was never deemed necessary to qualify this payload. After all, using the fuselage points you'll get 4 bombs and no just 2.

A special rack that allowed 4 bombs to be loaded in the centerline was developed and tested but nobody showed any interest so it never went into production. Tilly-B Posted December 9, 2016 Author Posted December 9, 2016 That's interesting, it would have turned the Mirage into quite a Bomb Truck I had thought maybe it was computer related, similar to how you shouldn't mix AG load outs... (even though I do)
jojo Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 By the time the M-2000C have been turned into bomb truck, the FAF delivers almost only guided bombs. Mirage fanatic !
