  1. You can have control over chaff as a pilot You need to have Jester (or your RIO) switch from 'Pilot' to NORM (or manual?) this can be done with the jester comma rose I also recommend loading up with more chaff than default, because it gets used quicker than flares I use 80C-20F :)
  2. Pedro Mission Mission Title: Pedro 1 [version 8] Creator: Tilly-B Mission Type: Single Player or Co Op (Up to 12) Aircraft Available: Huey, Mi8, Gazelle, Ka50, AV8B, A10C (But mainly Huey) Overview: - There has been a bombing in a City near our FOB which injured a civilian - You must fly there and return him to the hospital within 1 Hour - The surrounding towns are still hostile Link to Download: https://drive.google.com/open?id=12QJiTRJeZNOP8VKMYlVeHhWCgcUZ5WvW
  3. I dont know if this is a legit way of doing it, but go into the mission editor or encyclopedia, and look at the rear of the engine intakes on the F18, notice the 4 countermeasures boxes, similar to the F15. It appears to be the same, so I would assume 120 C/F in a mix of some sort. Could be wrong, and also Wags mentioned something about next gen CMs, which appear on the CM MFD page in one of the update pictures 'You may also notice the O1 and O2 counts, these are for GEN-X expendables' - Wags, Hornet update 16/01/18
  4. I was having this conversation with someone a while ago We wondered if, because the AGM 122 is 'basically' a Sidewinder, if it cant go on the inner pylons because it would get thermal returns from the front nozzles and be impossible to use? Although IR Mavs can go on the inner pylons, so I wonder if anyone has more info on this?
  5. There is a system called Brite Cloud which is essentially Mini RF jammers which fit into existing Chaff and Flare dispenser systems. They are expendable and are released just like chaff and flares, and last a few seconds till the battery runs out. That's what I took 'Mini Jammers' to be in this case, but I don't know if they'll be implemented for the Harrier
  6. If you want a mixed loadout, take Magics on the outside, Rockets on the inside, and Mk82s on the fuselage. That should work. But having 4 rockets and bombs will not
  7. Is that from the LITENING pod or the FLIR in the nose?
  8. IIRC there's no RWR, but you display the threats on an MPCD screen which has the appearance of a normal RWR. I'd also heard rumours that the GR7/9 harriers could display threats on the TAD/moving map as well, but I don't have any other reliable info on that
  9. Caucasus makes more sense if you are incorporating an LHD. It would be great to see the Mirage and the Harrier working together too! Escorting and Buddy lasing for each other respectively :)
  10. Mission Competition Submission Multirole Mirage: Area 51 Attack This mission has you flying a Mirage 2000 in a multirole configuration to attack a mobile Command Post located at Area 51. Using your INS system and the waypoints provided you will fly low and fast to avoid detection before doing a pop up bomb attack onto the target, and fighting your way through enemy QRF to get back to Nellis. The mission features voice prompts at the mission waypoints to aid the player in their task. Due to the mission being too large to share on the forums here is a link to a google drive where you can download the missions. 11. Looks great! Seems like you guys are making fantastic progress! Fuel tanks on the mid-wing pylons this time. I wonder what has a longer loiter time, the Harrier (with 4 tanks) or the Hog? :P
  12. Did the US Navy/ USMC use twin sidewinder rails at all? I'm sure I've seen F18s carrying twin sidewinders/AMRAAMs before, so in theory they could be used on the AV8B?
