terminator363 Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 (edited) I keep getting stutters when I move my mouse in spectator view. The game runs solid otherwise. Any mouse input will drop my fps. Sometimes stutters turn into huge fps drops if I pair the camera movement with zoom in/out. (FPS can drop from 60 to 7) Edited December 16, 2016 by terminator363 Happy Bug Hunting!
bkthunder Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 The zoom in/out is because DCS is loading more 3d objects in the distance as you zoom. Other than that, I also noticed FPS drop when using the mouse to rotate the external view. Hardcard Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 I keep getting stutters when I move my mouse in spectator view. Do you have a mouse with increased polling rate? In my case, the problem went away when I reduced mouse polling rate to normal levels (125Hz). Looks like the new graphics engine in DCS doesn't like higher mouse polling rates, for some reason...
