some1 Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 Compared to other DCS WWII aircraft, the spinning propeller is much more visible from the cockpit and has a weird moire effect. That's not how an aircraft propeller looks in real life. Maybe in some very specific lighting conditions, but not all the time. Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil WarBRD, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro
golani79 Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 If I remember correctly it was about the same when the 109 came out - so hopefully it will change for the Spit as well. >> DCS liveries by golani79 <<
Duck21 Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 I agree, right now the prop looks like you see it in a video. In reality all you see is an almost transparent disc, unless of course you're in start-up or shutdown. Hope this gets changed!
TWC_SLAG Posted December 31, 2016 Posted December 31, 2016 Here's what I can see, when I fly directly away from the sun. I never saw anything like this in real flying. I hope that this gets fixed. I'm sure the devs know about it, and will get to it eventfully. TWC_SLAG Win 10 64 bit, 2T Hard Drive, 1T SSD, 500GB SSD, ASUS Prime Z390 MB, Intel i9 9900 Coffee Lake 3.1mhz CPU, ASUS 2070 Super GPU, 32gb DDR4 Ram, Track IR5, 32” Gigabyte curved monitor, TM Warthog HOTAS, CH Pedals, Voice Attack, hp Reverb G2.
T_O_A_D Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 It also shows up solid from outside view when looking at other Spits flying around you.
