j0nx Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 (edited) I am trying to map the throttle in the mi8 to the rolling axis on my collective and there does not appear to be any way to do it in axis mapping. The only throttle mapping there is under axis is for the two engine condition levers to the side of the collective. There does not appear to be any way to map the rolling throttle on the collective itself to an axis? What are those two levers for anyway as they are never mentioned in the startup procedures. Art-J Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 (edited) a) The collective throttle axis is called "corrector" in the axis controls menu for some reason. b) these two levers are used only for individual engine testing and emergency situations when main governor fails and You have to control power manually. You're not supposed to touch them otherwise and that's why they're not in normal startup procedures. Check the engine section of the manual for details. j0nx Posted December 17, 2016 Author Posted December 17, 2016 Thank you Art! That was it :) Maybe I missed that they called it that in the manual but could not figure out why the throttle wouldn't map to the collective like it should.
