dual view/Split screens

I have seen some discussions re splitting and extending screens, but I was wondering if it is possible to have an extra window/screen open that could show another view simultaneously.

 

In other simulators one could be in cockpit view and open a second view with say an external view. This can be especially useful for helicopter hover practise as orientation, even with head tracking can be limited.
