AV8R Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 (edited) Make this work on a TM Warthog or Cougar base and connecting collar/post/pipe; and count me in for one! I do have one made by Baur that is the KG13B Luftwaffe stick grip for the Cougar. Nice to see 3D printing being used for this kind of project. Edited December 21, 2016 by AV8R
drPhibes Posted December 22, 2016 Posted December 22, 2016 The problem with making a spit attachment for the TM warthog is that there is no additional analog axis available for the brake handle, so you'd have to handle this through an additional USB interface. Not a major issue, but it does complicate things a bit.
Sokol1_br Posted December 22, 2016 Author Posted December 22, 2016 (edited) Spit don't need brake in axis. The game don't see press 'W' (default key) as hold W - instantly - but as W.W.W.W.W.W.W.W.W... I brake - successfully - with joy'... trigger. ;) I think that this IRL WWII compressed air operated "hand brake" don' allow much progressive operation, is more "ON/OFF". Is how you see Hurri/Spit pilots using in YT videos, just "press-release", "press-release"... etc. Edited December 22, 2016 by Sokol1_br
