gun/rocket reticle

Hello,

 

For the first time ever I tried flying a chopper on DCS. I fell in loooove with the Gazelle. Great module! I'm a fixed wing pilot (also in real) so it was a bit of challenge getting to fly a chopper.

Now that I can fly properly that bird I'm looking into the weapon system. I noticed that my gun/rocket reticle differs from what I saw on tutorial on the web. I have a yellowish cross and circle for both rockets/guns will the tutorial have green (circle for guns and circles/lines for rocket).

 

How so ?

PS3: at some angles, my yellow gunsight renders outside of the HUD glass. And generally the sight appears very thick.

looks like the yellow is the updated version of the green. The user seems to suffer from the same issue i.e. thick sight rendering sometimes outside of the hud (reported in September and still not fixed ? :-( )

The yellow reticle, is modelled after the Thales T100 gun sight and replaced the older DCS green reticles on or after the 27th August 2016.

Thanks a lot Ramsay!

 

Will the devs implement the other functions of the T100 sight ? Such as Torque overload, radio height warning and the T100 specific control panel ?
