carss Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 I think DCS desperately needs this feature. I was playing DCS on my laptop at a lower resolution than 1080P, but for experimental reasons I hooked up my laptop to a 1080p monitor and changed the settings to full HD. But when I reverted back to the original monitor, my settings stayed like that, and because of this I could only see a part of the screen which also meant that I couldn't revert the settings back as the "OK" button was off the screen. And because of this DCS could never be played unless you put the other monitor back on and play or revert the settings from there. I found this setting of "auto resolution" in War Thunder and thought it was perfect to suggest. This game has the feature where the resolution will automatically change when you add different screens. I think this feature is a must add for DCS [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Planes: FC3, P-51, F-86, F-5E, Mirage 2000, F/A-18, F-14, F-16, Mig-19P :joystick: ED pls gib A-4 and F-4
PiedDroit Posted January 7, 2017 Posted January 7, 2017 If it is enabled through options, good idea. Most users only use one screen but a significant portion of them have resolutions that exceed the screen size on purpose, for multi monitor configuration.
carss Posted January 8, 2017 Author Posted January 8, 2017 I think this option should have been added much earlier [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Planes: FC3, P-51, F-86, F-5E, Mirage 2000, F/A-18, F-14, F-16, Mig-19P :joystick: ED pls gib A-4 and F-4
