Hoggorm Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 Hi, I understand there is a new ant-cheat feature of Tacview. My setting is to record in real-time. After flying a mission on a server that do not allow Tacview recording I run the replay to see what happened. For some reason My recordings always stop a few minutes prior to the end of the multiplayer session recording, hence after 1.5.4 I never see what happened when I got shot down... Am I doing something wrong here? How can I make sure all of the action is recorded?
Pipe Posted February 5, 2017 Posted February 5, 2017 The anti cheat is a 10 minute delay. You have to stay connected an extra 10 min for full playback of what you want i7 4770k @ 4.5, asus z-87 pro, strix GTX 980ti directcu3oc, 32gb Kingston hyperX 2133, philips 40" 4k monitor, hotas cougar\warthog, track ir 5, Oculus Rift
Hoggorm Posted February 5, 2017 Author Posted February 5, 2017 But that does not make any sense... The server I'm on does not allow Tacview recordings directly (even with 10 minutes delay). Playing the Tacview recording done immediately after a mission only shows my aircraft. Nothing else and hence it is basically useless. To record all that happened I run the Playback file of the mission and when it completes way more than 10 minutes has passed. I do not want a 10 minute delay when playing such a recording... It does not make any sense to enforce it either since I'm no longer online and it takes a long time to run through...
Dingo_Bob Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 (edited) From what I can make out and I may be wrong but, you are reviewing the server track replay in DCS and then viewing the Tacview created after you complete the playback, if this is the case then you have to realize that the Track replay is saved with the Server settings so this is why you loose the 10 minutes at the end, the game ignores your 0 delay settings and reads the settings saved in the track file so from Tacviews point of view you are in an online environment even though you are not really online, again that's how I understand the way DCS saves tracks, I may be wrong someone with more knowledge might shed some more light Edited February 7, 2017 by Dingo_Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Modules are like Pokemon you gotta catch 'em all :joystick::lol::pilotfly: AMD Ryzen7 3700x, G-Skills 32Gb RAM @ 3200Mhz, MSI GTX1080Ti, TM Warthog (20cm extension by Sahaj), MFG Crosswind Pedals, Oculus Rift, Track Ir5
Hoggorm Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 I see. Unfortunately that makes sense... Thank you.
