microvax Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Following setup: Airstart 100m ASL mach 0.55 start speed, two rbs15, two RB74, Xtank. Fuel gage shows 126% Time in full zon3: 11:15 Takeoff from runway, same flight parameters after takeoff, same load. Fuel gage shows 135%+ time in full zon3: 13:20: Takeoff from parking hot, same flight parameters after takeoff, same load. Fuel gage shows 135%+ Time in full zon3: 13:35 Takeoff from parking cold, same flight parameters after takeoff, same load. Fuel gage shows 126% Time in full zon3 11:10 On start from the ground I put the throttle into zon3 from the moment I was ligned up with the takeoff way. My hypothesis is that if any hot start options like takeoff from parking hot or takeoff from runway, the aircraft has the internal plus twice the external fuel available. I have no other explanation for the extensively prolonged zon3 time. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] *unexpected flight behaviour* Oh shiii*** ! What ? Why ? What is happening ?
QuiGon Posted February 15, 2021 Posted February 15, 2021 (edited) I just revisited this report, tested it and can confirm to be fixed: Airstart 100m ASL mach 0.55 start speed, two rbs15, two RB74, Xtank. Fuel gage shows 126% Time in full zon3: 11:16 Takeoff from runway, same flight parameters after takeoff, same load.
