Radio not working after take off

Hi Guys

 

I have a strange problem with radio operation in the Spitfire. When on the ground the radio works normally with all standard pre take off calls working but as soon as I take off the ability use the radio is lost. When I try to bring up the various menus that worked fine on the ground nothing comes up. I still hear radio calls from wing men but am unable to access any radio options. I have not seen any other users having a similar issue but hope someone might be able to explain what is causing this frustrating problem. Note that no other modules are having any issues.

On the ground you can use the comm menu, in the air you need to use the aircraft's push to talk switch.
