Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 Hi, after watching several videos about it, I noticed that the air louvers/grills over the lerx, seem to behave in a different way in DCS. I know they are supposed to open at ground operation when principal air intakes are closed but once in the air as soon as you rise the landing gear they get closed... In this video for example (1:30 to the end) : theses little air intakes seem to be moving freely? or opening at different levels in flight and with gear up, probably due to the very low speed the plane is flying/high AoA...is this due to a wrong behaviour in DCS or plane version or what?? thanks!! Pronin Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 This would be an AWESOME detail to add to my favorite plane in DCS. It is such a cool little quirk of the MiG-29. ED does like to model things like this, so I really hope they do. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted February 26, 2017 Author Posted February 26, 2017 Yes mate!!, it would be GREAT to animate such a "natural" thing, moving with the wind and giving the feeling of speed :joystick::joystick::pilotfly::pilotfly: I seriously hope we can get a full mig-29 module some day is my second fav fighter aircraft, or at least an improved FC3 module with this kind of things included, lets see what we get with the AFM.
