Knock-Knock Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Coming from the sim racing scene, where a large portion of our feedback for what the car is doing, or the grip is doing, is tire audio and force feedback. I find it harder to 'feel' the limits in flight sims, cause I cant control/separate the buffet / high AOA / high load audio. That is, the ability to turn up/down the volume for the buffet, high AOA, high load. And also the ability to do so on the visual side, increase/decrease the shaking. I know its not realistic, but none of the sound volumes really are, so I cant see the harm in it, only benefits, since we lack essential feedback in this virtual world. - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |
MikeMikeJuliet Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 Good point. MiG-21 has cockpit shake slider in the special options. I'd hope to have such controls for all aircraft. DCS Finland | SF squadron
