EscCtrl Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Since i got my new computer and uninstalled LOMAC on the old one i have lost my joystick response settings Could anyone tell me what settings they use for their X45 preferably for airdisplay type flight (worked best for me) thanks
S77th-konkussion Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 oooh.. I was ready to answer until you said Air display.... I would want a small dead zone- like .5 or 1 notch- so I wouldn't be inputting signal inadvertently. I'm not really qualified to answer any deeper than that. I fly in combat formations- not precision display . That's too hard for me. :) [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/attachment.php?attachmentid=43337&d=1287169113[/sIGPIC]

S77th-konkussion Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 I dont fly air display but those settings worked last time for me. What do you use so i can try it out? thanks I have about 40 on Curve .5 on dead zone Shift is flat, I think. (50) I spend a lot of time in the SU25T- it was said early on to use FLAT settings for most realism. These settings did not work as well for my '33 so I found this to be a good compromise. EscCtrl Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 yeah left the shift on 50% and kept dead low - both those worked well seems curve is the important bit. Will keep experimenting more as well. Thanks for the advice both of you. Still need to choose a plane i like most and settle with those controls
S77th-konkussion Posted November 20, 2006 Posted November 20, 2006 Yep- and if you use a track ir- remember that any changes you make in the config files will kill it's function. You have to delete the Track ir files found in lockon\input and lockon\config after EVERY change to bring it back. EscCtrl Posted November 20, 2006 Author Posted November 20, 2006 ah right - don't have a trackIR YET... but every time i change any option i have to change the aspect ratio to fit my wide screen which is a nuisance
