Majesco Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 I have a question want to ask everyone: How can I find the enemy or allied squadrons via their co-ordinate ? Eg: Suppose I’m now at the co-ordinate of C: 44o35’20’’N 34o32’05’’E (in Lock On), I know N is North and E is East but how can I read the co-ordinate exactly if I want to find any aircraft at other co-ordinates. If I know my enemy or another allied plane such as E-2C Hawkeye at 45o20’21”N 33o25’44”E and he’s out of my plane’s radar range, how can I find him via his co-ordinate ? How many kilometre is 1 degree (eg 44oN to 45oN )
Corsair7662 Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 All I can say is crack out the map of the crimean peninsula and find out where that is because i could not tell you. I can just take a guess of that being 1-200 miles Northeast of your aircraft but sorry if that isnt much help. Besides what are you trying to know their coordinates for anyways? if you know what friendlys and enemies are on your radar, just keep on course with those waypoints and they will take you right for a bandit, and nowhere near a friendly Hawkeye :P.
