simo1000rr Posted April 4, 2017 Posted April 4, 2017 In VR the F15 pilot position feels so awkward , I know i can adjust the pilot position by the RCtl Rshift + KB num but when i adjust the pilot position back to the correct location i lose part of the HUD information . The HUD then feels like its shaved . The other air frame dont have that problem , th Su 27 is perfect . Only the F15 feels so bad and it feels so uncomfortable . Is there a way to fix that
VampireNZ Posted April 28, 2017 Posted April 28, 2017 I find that too - is really weird. I have spent a lot of time sitting in fighter jets and positioning so that you can see the F-15 full HUD adequately places the seat pan at about belly-button level for me. Super weird looking down. Just seems like the F-15 floor is too high or something. I think it may be related to the inter-pupil distance scaling relationship issue that abounds with VR. Games like Raceroom Racing Experience that enable you to alter the inter-pupil distance in-game are epic. As I have the same car IRL that I race in RRE I could dial it back to 95% and it was perfect scale. The F-5 is a little better, improved probably by the 3d pilot body that is there (so the cockpit dimensions had to be somewhere in the realms of reality) I also find the HUD display is too large in VR mode for the F-15, compared to the real HUD's I have seen.
