New to DCS and really enjoying it. One issue I've encountered is the use of modifiers with the T.Flight Hotas X. Is there any way to clear off any modifiers currently in effect with an assignable keyboard input? I find that when a lot is going on, it can be hard to remember what modifier(s) need to be entered (thus clearing them) before a new modifier is entered. Or is there any way to make modifiers effective for only a single input, rather than a series of inputs?

Perhaps you could give an example of the issue, since it isn't clear to me what you are trying to do.

It is important to know that there are two types of 'modifiers (modifiers and switches). Modifiers are momentary and are only in effect while the key/button is held. Switches are toggles which are in effect after being pressed once and remain in effect until they are pressed again.

It is rather easy to accidentally create one instead of the other, which can cause some confusion.

Pages 24-26 of the DCS User Manual covers this.

Thanks for the reference, I think I've gotten it figured out.

Ouch, I didn't know that. Anyway glad the issue is fixed, since I had the same joystick once and flew the A-10C a lot, maybe this can help you: http://imgur.com/He2Lq

That way my old stick was setup, each number is for one of the buttons I used as a modifier+POV hat.
