Hi,

Page 164 of the English flight manual, section 7.3.2, describes the "Hydraulic system check during power plant warm up."

I am instructed to "set switch MAIN HYDRO SYS to OFF. Pressure in main system (downstream value) will drop to zero." While attempting to perform this procedure during a cold start, the main system pressure never decreased per the gauge, but the rest of the test procedure was performed as written.

Odd they would put it in the book that way, but what you describe is how the real aircraft works. Due to the placement of the valves and pressure transmitters and switches, you will not lose pressure on the cockpit gauge in the primary system when you turn the primary system off manually.
