mrbobo Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Hello. I have the steam version, and manually installed DCS 2. As soon as it starts up, it tells me the modules and what not I have purchased from the site. As a backer, I have the WW2 map key, as well as the assets, but they don't show up in the launcher anywhere. Could someone help me please? Thanks.
cichlidfan Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 They have not been released to the public yet. Currently, ED hopes to release them around the end of May. mrbobo Posted May 6, 2017 Author Posted May 6, 2017 God dammit, 5 hours that took me. While I enjoy the game, not paying £40 for a map. I'll hold off until the Normandy one is released, just consider this an early setup. Cheers.

Na man, my mail is full of spam from all over the internet, only got back into it recently with the recent Steam sale (mig15/21). Almost forgot about the Kickstarter and wasn't aware of a DCS 2 version until a friend told me about it. Kinda presumed the Nevada map would be free, and when it was priced I figured since the Normandy map had a key available, it could be used. Doesn't matter, got the Mig21 to take up my time, 20 odd days is nothing.
cthulhu68 Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 You said in 1st post you're a backer. Did you get a closed alpha access key?
mrbobo Posted May 6, 2017 Author Posted May 6, 2017 You said in 1st post you're a backer. Did you get a closed alpha access key? Yea, think if was a bronze backer, got two planes and the Normandy map. Not that big of a deal, I mean, 20 days? Eh.
cichlidfan Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 The point is that if you check your backer's information on ED's site. You have a key for the backer-only Closed Alpha of the Normandy map and assets. Of course, you would have to do a complete download of the special v2.1 that ED has released for this purpose.
