Multiplayer vs Antivirus

I have a question concerning not being able to connect to a server while Antivirus is on.

 

Question: What executable shell I add to exclude files in my AVG antivirus program to be able to connect to MP servers ?

 

I have already tried "dcs_updater.exe" but it still doesn't allow me to connect.

 

With AVG antivirus off the problem does not exist.

Find all executable files in the DCS World folder:

DCS World\Run.exe

DCS World\bin\DCS.exe

DCS World\bin\DCS_updater.exe

DCS World\bin\Launcher.exe

DCS World\bin\dcs_protect.exe

 

I exclude whole folders for DCS, but that is me, I only use windows defender

I exclude all the .exe you have listed but still can't connect. Do you think WD will do and I can uninstall AVG antivirus ?

It is personal preference, I have used many of the free ones over the years, some were over protective. I switched to just using windows defender a while back and never had a problem, even with the real time protection.

 

Occasionally use malwarebytes for a second scan just to check.
