Home Fries Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Analyzing rbo5pylon.edm, it appears that there are diffuse and normal textures for the object, but no specular texture. I was hoping for a specular channel for this object so that I could reduce the reflection with a painted pylon. -Home Fries My DCS Files and Skins My DCS TARGET Profile for Cougar or Warthog and MFDs F-14B LANTIRN Guide

Hmm, I may be wrong, but I think you can still replace the default specular values by adding a line in the description lua for the livery. Just make sure you put the correct integer in the array (I think 3 is for specular, but I can't recall currently) Nicholas Dackard Founder & Lead Artist Heatblur Simulations https://www.facebook.com/heatblur/
Home Fries Posted June 9, 2017 Author Posted June 9, 2017 Cobra, I already tried that, though 2 is the integer for spec (3 is decal I believe). I inserted the following line {"Material #879", 2, "RB05A_pylon_spec_USN",false}; which had a fairly dull (dark grey) color similar to the RB-04 pylon spec, and I still got a pylon that was as glossy and reflective as the default.
