Highwayman-Ed Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 This is something that has bugged me for a while, more so of late with 2.1.1 as I'm making more escort type missions where you will protect a flight of B-17's for example. The AI piloting these aircraft seem to have no regard for the type of aircraft that they're flying, or how much vomit the virtual crew will be creating in the back of them. For example, form up on the B-17 on the free flight mission in DCS Normandy, and follow it until it starts its landing routine. The pitch and roll of the aircraft are excessive for an aircraft of any size at this phase of flight. I'd like to see either an option to set restrictions of bank, climb and roll rates in the ME, or have the AI flight path following reviewed at some point as they're very erratic and react like they're trying to evade a SAM rather than lining up for final.
