Yskonyn Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 I am sorry guys, but I tried a search and can only find thread about people stating they use the mousestick on the X52's throttle for viewing or TDS, but not how to config this correctly... My profile for the A-10 is nearly complete although I'd like to have mouseview binded to the X52 as well. Maybe I am overlooking the obvious, if I do, please forgive me, but could someone please point me into the right direction? Thanks heaps! :joystick: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asus Z390-E, 32GB Crucial Ballistix 2400Mhz, Intel i7 9700K 5.0Ghz, Asus GTX1080 8GB, SoundBlaster AE-5, G15, Streamdeck, DSD Flight, TM Warthog, VirPil BRD, MFG Crosswind CAM5, TrackIR 5, KW-908 Jetseat, Win 10 64-bit ”Pilots do not get paid for what they do daily, but they get paid for what they are capable of doing. SuperKungFu Posted December 17, 2006 Posted December 17, 2006 i haven't tried it but have you tried setting bands for the minstick? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Yskonyn Posted December 17, 2006 Author Posted December 17, 2006 Well if you could enable the view to behave in the cockpit the same as in external views (mouseview) then the mousestick on the X52 would automatically function as the view control without editing. Any options or mods to enable 'in-cockpit-mouseview'? 3Sqn_Fudd Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Yeh we just went through a problem like this http://forum.lockon.ru/showthread.php?t=20204 http://3sqn.com/forum/ Here's to 1.13 -- > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0488djMDBU
Yskonyn Posted December 18, 2006 Author Posted December 18, 2006 Thanks, Fudd, but I don't want TDS to work with the mousestick. I want the view to respond to the mousestick. In some mod on Lockonfiles I read something about 'cockpit mouse enabled'. This might be what I am looking for, but there's no instruction on how to do this... veit Posted December 18, 2006 Posted December 18, 2006 Well, if you can't figure out how to get mouselook to work in the cockpit, you can always go into the sst programming software and assign the ministick to bands instead of axis. Assign the bands to the respective numpad buttons that pan around the cockpit. I think it's virtually the same result. EDIT: I just remembered, if you want cockpit mouse, open your Lock On\Config\View\View.cfg and find the line MouseCockpit=0 and make it MouseCockpit=1 (remember to uncomment it - delete the '//' before the line). Then open view.lua and set CockpitMouse=true there. I think this will do bad things to TrackIR if you have it, so either you have to disable TrackIR or set it to mouse emulation mode.
Yskonyn Posted December 20, 2006 Author Posted December 20, 2006 Ah thanks veit! My TIR4 just arrived so I don't need the view on the stick anymore. Better stay away from those lua and cfg settings then! :D [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asus Z390-E, 32GB Crucial Ballistix 2400Mhz, Intel i7 9700K 5.0Ghz, Asus GTX1080 8GB, SoundBlaster AE-5, G15, Streamdeck, DSD Flight, TM Warthog, VirPil BRD, MFG Crosswind CAM5, TrackIR 5, KW-908 Jetseat, Win 10 64-bit ”Pilots do not get paid for what they do daily, but they get paid for what they are capable of doing.
