Is there a config item or argument to throttle downloads?

I'm downloading the NTTR update over a very slow rural connection, and it sucks up the whole thing. Don't want to make the family unhappy for several days, so is there a config option to throttle the download speed?

 

I could go the QoS route on the router, but I find it just slows down everything too.
