Help.....Problem assigning joystick commands in 1.5.7

Hi,

 

I can no longer assign a joystick command in 1.5.7 only. what I would normally do would be to open controls. Find the command I wish to assign. Say "Landing Gear" G > Find my joystick on the list > double click on the empty box that would normally bring up the "Add assignment panel" I would then press the button on the stick to assign.

 

When I double click on the box i wish to assign a command now the box turns blue but the "Add assignment panel" does not appear.

 

Ive tried this in DCS World 2 and it works as normal.

Ive tried to repair DCS World 1.5.7 it goes through the repair process but I have the same problem.

 

Any Ideas? :helpsmilie:

 

Is there a file I could delete to force DCS to produce a new one?

Subfolder e.g. C:\Users\ xxx \Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\A-10C

 

Before deleting the subfolder you can try to copy the folder from dcs 2 to dcs 1.5 for the plane with the problems

I followed the steps. Deleted the input folder but same problem.

 

Btw all planes are affected in 1.5.7. Cant assign joystick keys.

Strange

 

1) Delete and repair again

 

2) If that doesn´t work - try to copy a plane from DCS 2 to DCS 1.5

Novac, You can copy "Input" subfolders between versions, that's what I always do. If your controls work OK in 2.x, copy the Input to 1.5.7.

Thanks for your help guys but none of the above worked. I found an old 1.5 version. Updated that now all is good.
