DCS 2.1

After putting the shadow quality in the left settings panel to high I noticed a much cleaner image in the rift in the medium distance over Vegas.

A hell of a lot less shimmering and cleaner and more pleasing to my eyes.

FPS still looks good in Nevada...1080gtx

Noticed the same thing that VR benefits from higher shadow settings.

Many new engine seems as well to benefit from higher graphics quality as it moves processing from CPU to GPU and this way runs better.

Have you tried using ultra setting for shadows instead of high?

What setting do you have terrain objects shadows on the right side of the options page?

Havent tried ultra shadows fitness88 but will do.

I've tried the various options for both shadows left/right side of the options page, haven't noticed anything obvious except ASW FPS is mostly 45 instead of 90.
