Using a warthog profile help

Hi,

 

Using thrust master warthog stick and yoke and the target gui

 

What do I need to enable in the DCS game for me to use a pre made profile I downloaded from the DCS website please

 

As I have run the profile from target but it doesn't seem to work?

Copy your file into the Thrustmaster Projects sub folder.

Launch Target, find your profile and select "run."

Minimize Target and launch the sim......

Actually, if it is a tmc file, it can be run from anywhere. If you are still having issues, please post the download link so that we can see exactly what you are working with.

Run the TARGET script editor (the icon without the little yellow stars). Click the Menu button, then click Open. Navigate to the location where the tmc file is and select it. Now click the green Run button. Assuming there are no errors, you are ready to start DCS and assign the axis, then fly.

 

This is general information. Without seeing the profile, I don't know if there is anything, other than axis assignments, that you will need to do inside of DCS before you are ready to fly.

 

EDIT: Note that TARGET must stay running while you play a game/sim.

I found it.

 

Did you follow the steps I posted for running it in TARGET, which are also in the README file included with the profile? What is not working?

 

I just scanned through it, without TARGET, and it looks fine, although poorly documented.

ok ive loaded ok in target script editor, what do I need to do in DCS once running please?

Once DCS is running you need to assign the joystick axis in DCS Options>Controls screen, for the F-15C. Target takes care of buttons but you still need to assign the axis in the sim just like you would if you were not using TARGET. There will be a column, in the Controls screen, for a Thrustmaster Combined. That is what you stick/throttle are called when TARGET is used.
