Alfredson007 Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 Is it modeled? It doesn't seem to work, but i am not sure how it is done, i tried as i was starting the engine, but leaving fuel pumps off and putting the start level to cold start. Nothing happens :\
Frederf Posted August 26, 2017 Posted August 26, 2017 It's for evacuating fuel from the engine by running the start cycle without adding fuel. Generally this is a necessary safety step after a failed start (or if fuel is present after a shutdown) before the next start attempt. What should happen is the RPM surge of a normal start but without light off.
Alfredson007 Posted August 26, 2017 Author Posted August 26, 2017 Yes i know what it is but i cannot do it. Nothing happens. I just wanted to ask is there someone who could tell me how it is done or is it not modeled at all?
