Mr_Burns
Hi, I was thinking of turning some Aluminum/Aluminium bar to make some caps I can slide over my Ebay toggles to make them look like locking toggles and the type. Alas I dont have a lathe, I could use my drill I suppose and knock up some clamp and then a dremel to shape it, but they would be ugly and probably better without them! Do any of the shapeways shop owners plan on making any of these, I notice there are a number of different switch types, including the ones with the 3 half spheres and some triangular ones as well as the locking toggle ones. They could be attached with glue or a grub screw but I doubt such a fine thread in resin would work. Any other solutions?
Hansolo
An alternative solution is to buy them of Lynx instead of trying to produce them yourself; http://lynx.dk/product-category/products/flight-simulator-gear/a-10c-warthog/a-10c-switch-tops/ You may also be able to find the real ones on Ebay for a reasonable price but it takes time to monitor and you may not always get what you are looking for.
