Hello,

The AN/ASG-29 has built-in-test circuits and a switch to activate them, wich is located on the bottom right of the sight controls panel, this is supposed, when activated, to and i quote "The sight check procedure provide BIT check to determine go/no-go status of each mode of operation by correct reticle display indications", this quote along with all the necessary information about the BIT circuits and what they do is present in the manual (https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/1946809/) section 1 page 41 to 46 and section 2 page 7 to 9.

I truely suck at explaining so i stuck to the manual instead :D.

These are not present in the module atm, while not being very important, it doesn't seem that hard to do and adds a touch of immersion and realism.

Regards, Rex.

Ok, now i have a little bit more time to explain how this switch works and what it does :D.

So lets begin,

The sight bit test switch is loacated on the bottom right of the sight controls panel,

This switch is supposed to activate the Built-in-test (BIT) circuits when in the up position (Bit-2), middle position off and down Bit-1,

Just info on the symbology.

And the first page of the sight check section, telling what do the BIT circuits do and in which sight mode,

And here are some sketches of those tests,

That is only for aircrafts of group Nb°1 (triangle with a one in it)

And for the second group,

That covers the subject, as i said, i cannot explain very well so i pretty much screened the manual so you guys didn't have to bother downloading it then searching the correct page in this 600ish page lecture ^^.

As i said before, not very important but would still be nice to see in game :).

Regards, Rex.

I'm sorry that I don't reply. I noted this issue. Sure we will add sight bit test.

As for other issues, some of them are not easy to deal with.

Nice hearing from a dev ! Hope you guys manage to fix the remaining problems with the F-5, still is about the most enjoyable aircraft i've bought and i'm glad it's still being worked on .
