311Gryphon Posted September 9, 2017 Posted September 9, 2017 I'm not sure where exactly to post this but since I'm interested in this in relation to the Flanker I thought I'd put it here. There are also some similar posts but not exactly what I'm looking for, although helpful. Can anyone help me with what Russian combat pilots would say in certain situations such as those below? When requesting permission from ATC: "Request takeoff", "request landing" When asking for information from JTAC or AWACS (whatever those are in Russian): "Request picture" or "request bogey dope". When communicating status between pilots: "One rolling", "Two wheels up", "Bomb away", "Guns, guns", "Fox three" (If I read the thread link below correctly this would be more like "white away" or something like that, in Russian of course), and things like "bandit two o'clock", "bogey eleven o'clock", and "engaged defensive". And of course things like: "bingo fuel", "Winchester" (or whatever Russians would say instead when they are out of ammo), "return to base". Thank you in advance. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2255328#post2255328 http://www.youtube.com/user/311Gryphon i7-8700, 32 GB DDR4 3000, GTX 1080 TI 11GB, 240 GB SSD, 2TB HDD, Dual (sometimes Triple) monitor, TM Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Pro Combat Pedals, TrackIR [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
