People might have taken it that way if it weren't for this from your first comment:

Nonetheless I am very happy that folks are digging it.

I hope you folks don't hurt yourselves patting each other on the back so vigorously.

Which comes across as less as fair critique, and more as sarcasm used to vent some pre-existing grievance.
