In fligth formation

I'm creating a fligth of 4 ships.

Anyway to assign a formation ie : Wedge, trail, box or any other ?

Hi TW, create your four-ship group and then click on the "advanced waypoint actions" button beneath the flight's waypoint information.

 

Click add, then select set option -> formation from the drop down menus. Once you do this, you'll see all available formation options.

It's a group option you can set per-waypoint in the waypoint actions:

 

Advanced (Waypoint Actions)

Add...

Type: Set Option

Action: Formation
