Buckeye Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 Pretty much what the title says. I fired up the the A-10C tonight and the cursor in VR (Rift CV1) was moving with my head as well as with my mouse, which made it very difficult to accurately click inside the cockpit with the mouse (I had to hold my vision super still to avoid the cursor moving -- not really conducive to good SA when flying). I would prefer for the mouse to have 100% input control. is this feasible? Apologies if this is a stupid question, which I am sure it is haha :music_whistling: Rig: SimLab P1X Chassis | Tianhang Base PRO + Tianhang F-16 Grip w/ OTTO Buttons | Custom Throttletek F/A-18C Throttle w/ Hall Sensors + OTTO switches and buttons | Slaw Device RX Viper Pedals w/ Damper Tactile: G-Belt | 2x BK LFE + 1x BK Concert | 2x TST-429 | 1x BST-300EX | 2x BST-1 | 6x 40W Exciters | 2x NX3000D | 2x EPQ304 PC/VR: Somnium VR1 Visionary | 4090 | 12700K
David OC Posted October 18, 2017 Posted October 18, 2017 This could possibly be an option added it seems Buckeye and would be a good idea if it is posssible to do in DCS. Figured it out. I set the Oculus Cameras to not be "Main" then created another camera that is just "Main" Apparently the mouse input is driven by the Main camera rotation. :) Thanks! The post Perhaps ask for it in the wishlist thread and link to this oculus developer discussion on separating head and mouse movement. Hopefully this can work in the DCS environment. . i7-7700K OC @ 5Ghz | ASUS IX Hero MB | ASUS GTX 1080 Ti STRIX | 32GB Corsair 3000Mhz | Corsair H100i V2 Radiator | Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVMe 500G SSD | Samsung 850 EVO 500G SSD | Corsair HX850i Platinum 850W | Oculus Rift | ASUS PG278Q 27-inch, 2560 x 1440, G-SYNC, 144Hz, 1ms | VKB Gunfighter Pro Chuck's DCS Tutorial Library Download PDF Tutorial guides to help get up to speed with aircraft quickly and also great for taking a good look at the aircraft available for DCS before purchasing. Buckeye Posted October 18, 2017 Author Posted October 18, 2017 Oh wow, so there really isn't an option to turn this off currently? I thought for sure I was just over looking it. This situation is making the cursor subpar to use. What I don't get is that it works perfectly when game is paused or when you are in the hangar menu find me on steam! username: Hannibal_A101A http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197969447179
