"Lockheed Martin will create a high-powered laser for the U.S. Air Force that will be demonstrated on a fighter jet in 2021."

 

 

Times sure are changing...give it until at the minimum 2030 before its in line units anywhere IMO for air to air fighting. Definitely a replacement for ARM such as HARM's to take out the increasingly longer range and smarter SAM sites.

 

By the time we got lasers the F/A-18C might be even released :megalol:
