RED Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 Today i tried to mark targets with smoke in 2.1.1.11317 and could not do it at first. I found out that it works only without a headtracking device. It seems that the aimpoint for the smoke doesnt go with your headtracking. If you aim into the sky for example with your mouse and the headtracking is centered, you cant use smoke because you are aiming into the sky. When you then look down against ground with your headtracking device you still cant use smoke because the aimpoint for smoke stays in the sky. If you happen to have the aimpoint against ground you never know where it will go because your most likely looking somewhere else with your headtracking device. So you have to deactivate your headtracking. I could not find any post that adressed this.
