Razi Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Hello, I'm having troubles with the command post strike mission. The default view for that mission is somehow completely different from all the other missions. I did have an edited SnapViews.lua, but restored it to default, however with no change. It is only that single mission. The vAngle is probably +5 degrees with perhaps a 60 degree FOV. The rest of the missions work fine with the default 90 degree FOV and roughly -18 degrees vAngle. Anyone have any ideas why a single mission has a different default view? Thanks
MadDog-IC Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Hello, I'm having troubles with the command post strike mission. The default view for that mission is somehow completely different from all the other missions. Anyone have any ideas why a single mission has a different default view? Thanks That particular mission has a intro track recorded within it, so it has a saved view from the machine it was recorded on, this will over ride any local versions of snapviews, etc. You have to delete the Config directory (which has the View directory and snapview.lua files) within the mission to fix it, Presents mission has one also. You could also download my edited versions of the Su-25T Single Player missions from the user files section that removed that problem, and other issues: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/?PER_PAGE=100&arrFilter_pf%5Bfiletype%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Bgameversion%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Bfilelang%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Baircraft%5D=&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&CREATED_BY=MadDog-IC&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC&set_filter=Filter Regards, Ian. 1 Asus p877v-pro, Intel I7 3770k 4.2ghz, 32gb Ripjaw X ram, Nvidia RTX-2070 Super, Samsung 32" TV, Saitek x52 pro Joystick and Combat rudder pedals, TrackIR 5, Win8.1 x64 with SSD and SSHD protected by (Avast AV). Razi Posted November 25, 2017 Author Posted November 25, 2017 Great! That was it. I didn't know that individual missions could contain their own view files. Good to know. Thank you
