ED Team f-18hornet Posted January 19, 2007 ED Team Posted January 19, 2007 Previous week ago I've sent my old g. card ATi 9800pro to repair because I had problems with it. But this card is no more producing so they sent me new card Nvidia A7600GT TDH and now I've this problem: when I zoomed out of the plane I've got that: a few zoomed out. Please help:( AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, GeForce RTX 2080Ti, 32 GB DRAM, HOTAS TM Warthog, FSSB R3 Lighting, MFG Crosswind, Win 10 Pro
veit Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 It's a known shadow bug with nVidia drivers and several flight simulators including LOMAC. You either need to revert to all planar shadows (can't use full shadows), or find older nVidia drivers that don't exhibit that bug. It's a known issue and people have been complaining about it. However, nVidia doesn't appear to be responding the issue, so it may not be fixed at all.
zaelu Posted January 19, 2007 Posted January 19, 2007 You can use 84.25 drivers and this particular "manifestation" of the "shadow bug on nvidia" will not apear. Also you can post on nvidia forum your problem and maybe someone there would look into it. We the others did. But I can't find the link now... maybe someone with some search sklils will pas it to you... the is a thread there specialy made for this issue. ED Team f-18hornet Posted January 19, 2007 Author ED Team Posted January 19, 2007 Thank you for that. I searched and find this http://drivers.softpedia.com/get/GRAPHICS-BOARD/NVIDIA/NVIDIA-Forceware-8425.shtml It's called 84.25 as well. Is it that what did you say? Edit: Can I use newer drivers than 84.25? Or that's the last one without this problem. AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, GeForce RTX 2080Ti, 32 GB DRAM, HOTAS TM Warthog, FSSB R3 Lighting, MFG Crosswind, Win 10 Pro
ED Team f-18hornet Posted January 20, 2007 Author ED Team Posted January 20, 2007 Well, I tried to install 84.25 but it's too old for my card and "oldest" which I can use is 91.47 only. Is there still way to fix it?:helpsmilie: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, GeForce RTX 2080Ti, 32 GB DRAM, HOTAS TM Warthog, FSSB R3 Lighting, MFG Crosswind, Win 10 Pro
