assafm25 Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 I fly some booming mission using the MK-82 on the range . i found that the attack run need to be very low Alt and need to use high negative G dive to see the marker . also never found the way to make it stable (straight line ) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] IAF Bell205 IAF Anafa ----------------------- DCS World Modules: A-10C, FC3, MiG-21BiS, F-86, P-51, KA-50, UH-1H Huey, Mi-8, M2000K, Gazal, Bf109, Mig-15, Hawk and NTTR ----------------------- My System - ASUS Maximus HERO iiiv, CoolMaster 120 Sadion Plus, I7 -6700K @4.0, G.Skill ddr4 16GB ram, Gigabyte GTX 1070 G1 , PSU Seasonic X-650W, OCZ 150 500Gb ssd drive X2, Seagate 7200 1T X2. -------------
Delareon Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Same here, you have to fly very low (in which case no Mk82 explodes but this could be my mistake, just tried it once) or you have to do a "Dive Bomber Run". It should be possible to get the Pipper if you are very fast but couldnt test it so far.
Atooyi Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 actually, on gbu 12, on altitude between 10-15 thousands and the speed of 400-450 knots, it shows the impact point between 12-15 miles away from plane, and interesting enough, the bomb guides to the target and scores a kill.
Eddie Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 No issues here, the symbology isn’t exactly right but the weapon accuracy is fine. If as your post suggests you’re using negative G, and not performing a dive delivery, then it sounds like pilot error. Visual Level Deliveries only work at low level, for medium/high alt toss deliveries CCRP is needed.
assafm25 Posted December 4, 2017 Author Posted December 4, 2017 so what is the best way to deliver the bombs on CCIP mode? PopUp ? Low alt ? tusler Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 I have the same problem with smoothness, I cannot get this plane to trim and fly straight no matter what I try with the Warthog setup, it is constantly either climbing or diving. This is not the case for others though, look at this video and how smooth the approach is, also I notice the dive angle and speed and I cannot see the piper There was another video where the guy did ccip and had similar dive angle but at the end around 1000 ft or less the pipper shows up and he release the bomb. Eddie Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 so what is the best way to deliver the bombs on CCIP mode? PopUp ? Low alt ? Take a look through this thread, while they are performed in the A-10 the deliveries are universal to all aircraft, only the specific parameters such as speed/altitude change: http://www.476vfightergroup.com/showthread.php?3131-Air-to-Surface-Weapon-Delivery-Methods Pick a delivery type suitable for th target and desired effects.
assafm25 Posted December 4, 2017 Author Posted December 4, 2017 i found after long practice the u just need to practice :) the key is to make -5- -30 minimum dive . u can make it popup or just low flight . ass the corer is on the ground tray to make it as mach as passible stable .
