sobe Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 For the new Su-33, I am trying to find missions that take off and land on carriers that are based on the new Su-33 flight characteristics, etc., but cannot seem to locate any that are recent. Also, do you have to provide my own carrier mod? Both are available on the ED website under user files. Regards, Ian. sobe Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 Basic Self-made carrier take-off missions-first attempt I have never used the mission editor, but after watching a video on YouTube on how to place the Su-33 on a carrier, I decided to try my luck. The one pilot video is just you on the short take-off runway. The three pilot video places you as pilot number 3 on the long take-off runway and you take off after the other 2 planes do so. According to GrmlZGaming, the author of the video, this is the only current means to place a pilot on the long runway. As this is my first use of the mission editor, I am sure I have forgotten things to do, but so far so good. The fuel is 60% and the armament is light for training purposes. Any comments would be appreciated. One Pilot Carrier Takeoff.mizThree Pilot Carrier Takeoff.miz Trackir4 using the latest Trackir 5 software, Win10 Pro [Creator Update] updated from Win7Pro Pro 64Bit, Intel® Core™ i5-2500 3.30 GHz 6M Intel Smart Cache LGA115 , GigaByte GA-Z68XP-UD4 Intel Z68 Chipset DDR3 16GB Ram, GTX MSI Gaming 1060 [6 GB] Video Card, Main Monitor 1 on left 1920x1080 Touchscreen Monitor 2 on right 1920x1080 .

You will have to get use to taking off from the two short runways if you play single player (Player) a lot, multiplayer (Client) you can pick which slot you use if there is 3 planes in flight as you have found out. You will need some head wind 10 m/s or more if you want 80% fuel and good load out of missiles and still be able to take off on short runway. https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3256607&postcount=12 Regards, Ian.
