Dogman Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Hi Guys I have mapped the four trim buttons to my joystick hat however when I am in the simulator to trim is not working. Has anyone else had this issue and if so how did you resolve it? Thomasew Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 (edited) Hi, Just a thought, .. by default, and unlike most other aircraft, .. the Harrier uses Right Control and the arrows keys (not numeric pad) for trim, .. instead of the usual ,./; .. etc.. Caught me as well. Also, .. Right Control z and x for Rudder Trim. Cheers Tom Edited December 9, 2017 by Thomasew He Who Will Not Risk Cannot Win
Chipwich Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 Or perhaps you need to program Hold instead of Pulse to the command (using TM TARGET phraseology). If the command is pulsed, you would only get a millisecond of input on that axis. mmaclauchlan Posted December 9, 2017 Posted December 9, 2017 I had this issue in several planes. The issue was tha I left my FFB steering wheel in. I had to UNCHECK FFB in the DCS settings screen. Once I did that, trim worked in all aircraft. Mags Quest 2, VKB controls, MFG Crosswinds
