=Pedro= Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 I would like to ask ED about the canopy in Spitfire. During closing and opening, the canopy moves at approx. 3 fps. There is no great tragedy, but it would be more natural if it moved a little more smoothly. Maybe I'm picking on but I do not think it's a lot of work to fix it. ;) Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X | i7 9700K@5.0GHz | Asus TUF OC RTX 4090 | 32GB DDR4@3200MHz | HP Reverb G2 | TrackIR 5 | TM Warthog HOTAS | MFG Croswinds
Anatoli-Kagari9 Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 (edited) Hey Pedro! That was after I hit you with my 109 :-) Jokes apart, stutters are really plaguing 1.5.8 and 2.2 with the latest updates. While in my old rig FPS can stay in Normandy up to 60+ fps, sometimes even 80+, I see a lot of stutters when looking sideways. And I am getting kicked off of pretty much every MP sessions :-( An update is due for sure - let's wait... Knock-Knock Posted December 19, 2017 Posted December 19, 2017 Thats not what Pedro is talking about. Its the animation itself that runs at a much lower fps, or it looks like it does. Goes for most modules really. - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |
=Pedro= Posted December 20, 2017 Author Posted December 20, 2017 Jcom I'm always ready to show you how hard is to get on my 6 :D This will solve your problem with stutter hopefully ;) https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3327716&postcount=23 Knock-Knock, yes that's what this thread is all about. In Spit the effect of canopy animation is so saturated. 1 Gigabyte Z390 Gaming X | i7 9700K@5.0GHz | Asus TUF OC RTX 4090 | 32GB DDR4@3200MHz | HP Reverb G2 | TrackIR 5 | TM Warthog HOTAS | MFG Croswinds
