They work with the 32bit version, but the 64bit version will not accept a driver that is not digitally signed, and as such you can't install it.

Naturalpoint are working on it, and are getting the driver signed by MS...

Are the latest drivers of TIR4 working with Vista?

I know you said TIR4, but, I have a TIR3 that works pretty well for the most part. The F9 and F12 Key are not responsive. I have changed them to other characters/combination not used in Lock On with no good results. It does seem that with the 4.1 (?) Build 30 software that my head does stay centered. The great news is that I get 35-40 FPS with everything maxed out that slows to around 24-30 when close to the ground with the air full. I have not tried it in the SLI mode as yet, expect better or at least hope it will be. Been waiting for FPS like this for a long time. I saw FPS around 120 for a short period following a reboot. That was great. Don't know what I did or how I did it, only saw it once. Hope this answers your question, probably more information that you wanted.
