Fred00 Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 I've noticed that the A-10C nowadays is banking left or right directly after take-off. This problem was not present earlier. It's also very hard to trim out the plane (so that it's not banking). When you think you have found a good trim you do some maneuvering and then it's off again. This is very annoying, but if it's a feature then please let us know. As it is now it feels very weird and no other plane in DCS has this tendency. Btw, I have no rudder pedals. Just Z and X mapped to the rudder.
Habu_69 Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 I also can not seem to trim the aircraft. I have good Cougar HOTAS and programmed it to give a single trim key input for each press of trim button (Hat 1). I find that both pitch and bank are impossible to trim perfectly. A slight roll or pitch is always present. Autopilot relieves much of this burden, but inability to trim is a bother during refueling and weapon delivery. If this represents realistic aircraft behavior I guess we must all learn to live with it.
szymv Posted January 2, 2018 Posted January 2, 2018 I have noticed it too, and I feel that this might be a feature. Maybe it's just me, but I also feel that A10 have a bit more "snappier" performance, especially pitch-wise... I wonder if the FM or world physics have changed a bit. It may be due to upcoming hornet release and merge to v2.5.
