Moose349 Posted January 5, 2018 Posted January 5, 2018 Hello, I know that the Bk90 has several bug and I know that in mp the explosion is just one big. But I was able to use them in sp few months ago and I ve heard that there is a way to use them in mp. My problem is that when I launch the gliders they go directly into the ground and most of the time, I explode with them. I ve tried to follow the tutorial on the net carefully but I can t see my mistake... I repaired my dcs too... here is an example of my launches (be advised that the second part desynced):
QuiGon Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 Hmm, that's weird. I use the BK90 all the time in MP and I don't run into this issue. I watched the video and I can't see what causes it. I've seen two things I do differently though: - I rearm entirely cold. I wait untill rearming is finished, then I insert the data catridge, power up the aircraft and load the data. - You switch to NAV mode during taxiing. According to the procedures in the manual you should stay in BER mode untill you are standing still on the runway. When that is the case then you switch to NAV mode and takeoff. I don't know if one of them might causes the issue with the BK90, but these are the only things you're doing quite different than me. Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
microvax Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 (edited) Hot rearm shouldnt be an issue you can also go to nav 2 minutes before you takeoff so that shouldnt be a problem and last time i checked it wasnt implemented. So has to be some unicorn thing. I would A launch them lower B try full bk90 load C try center pylons D try different time of year and weather with lower pressure. Also set the weapon selector to attack after rearming. Also go f6 on the weapons after release atm its kinda not clear if thy not try to go into cruise phase at all or only too late. QuiGon Posted January 6, 2018 Posted January 6, 2018 Launching lower sounds good. I always launch them between 50-100m. I can use the BK90s from all available pylons and I always set the weapon selector to attack when I'm already airborne. No issues there on my side. :dunno: Intel i7-12700K @ 8x5GHz+4x3.8GHz + 32 GB DDR5 RAM + Nvidia Geforce RTX 2080 (8 GB VRAM) + M.2 SSD + Windows 10 64Bit DCS Panavia Tornado (IDS) really needs to be a thing!
