hansangb Posted January 15, 2018 Posted January 15, 2018 (edited) Did not help :( I guess my CPU is just to old. Cannot even try to overclock since AISuite 2 does not work after windows intel security update.... Guess it is time to start saving for new setup :( Go to the PC Hardware thread. You'll find the Intel vulnerability thread. You'll find that someone (BitMasters, maybe) posted something about getting AISuite to work. Found it: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3348773&postcount=57 Edited January 15, 2018 by hansangb hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
spike2450 Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 Mine ran better when I went to higher settings as per Jabbers video ( see above), start highest settings and work backwards.

Tricky11 Posted January 16, 2018 Posted January 16, 2018 i recently upgraded from a 3570k @4.2ghz with a gtx980 and 16 gig of ddr3 to a 7700k @ 4.5ghz with a gtx1070 and 32gig of ddr4 and it totally transformed the performance of VR in DCS for me. I have even managed to hike the pixels up to 1.8 and getting 45 to 90 fps in 1.5. Compared to when i got between 15 - 23 fps with my old setup.
Fab Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 Yep deferred shading is also off. The wierd thing is that I am running around 90 fps most of the time and then suddenly there seem to come a dip.....Even when just looking up at blue sky that should be not problem to render.... clarasdk Posted February 2, 2018 Author Posted February 2, 2018 After all the nice help on this thread I just wanted to give my feedback after moving the sim to 2.5 For me it is a game changer! I have the sim running smooth with 45 fps with pretty high settings and it is amazing! Especially the helicopters are so much easier to fly in VR. I have mainly tested without al ot of enemy activity so I guess the FPS will see a drop there and I might need to lower some settings. But right now I am happy just flying around enjoying the future of Flight simming! Most of the time with an open mouth looking at things in awe.
