Did not help :(

I guess my CPU is just to old.

Cannot even try to overclock since AISuite 2 does not work after windows intel security update....

Guess it is time to start saving for new setup :(

Go to the PC Hardware thread. You'll find the Intel vulnerability thread. You'll find that someone (BitMasters, maybe) posted something about getting AISuite to work.

Found it: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3348773&postcount=57

i recently upgraded from a 3570k @4.2ghz with a gtx980 and 16 gig of ddr3 to a 7700k @ 4.5ghz with a gtx1070 and 32gig of ddr4 and it totally transformed the performance of VR in DCS for me. I have even managed to hike the pixels up to 1.8 and getting 45 to 90 fps in 1.5. Compared to when i got between 15 - 23 fps with my old setup.

Yep deferred shading is also off.

The wierd thing is that I am running around 90 fps most of the time and then suddenly there seem to come a dip.....Even when just looking up at blue sky that should be not problem to render....

Thermal throttle?

After all the nice help on this thread I just wanted to give my feedback after moving the sim to 2.5

For me it is a game changer! I have the sim running smooth with 45 fps with pretty high settings and it is amazing! Especially the helicopters are so much easier to fly in VR.

I have mainly tested without al ot of enemy activity so I guess the FPS will see a drop there and I might need to lower some settings. But right now I am happy just flying around enjoying the future of Flight simming! Most of the time with an open mouth looking at things in awe.
